As always, the season finale of NBC’s Heroes teased the next one: Sylar shape-shifted into Nathan’s body, and Adrian Pasdar played a bewildered "Nathan" who started to show signs of Sylar’s old watchmaking skills. This bothered Angela Petrelli (Cristine Rose), who just wanted to take her son out to lunch.

At the Saturn Awards on Wednesday, Pasdar said that he’s not going to be play Sylar so much as play somebody trying to imitate Nathan. (Pasdar took home a Saturn Award for best supporting actor on a television series.)

"That’s the irony," Pasdar said. "I don’t feel like I’m playing Sylar. I feel like I’m playing a guy who’s playing Nathan. You see what I’m saying? I’m not trying to act like Sylar. Sylar’s trying to act like Nathan. A little tic … here, a little compulsive, obsessive behavior somewhere else."

We have just been informed by our NBC contact that Rachel Melvin who most recently has been seen playing Chelsea in Days of Our Lives has joined the cast as Annie for Season 4.

As many of you know from the casting calls and the leaked script Annie is Claire’s roommate. So I assume Claire will have two roommates, because we reported earlier this week that Madeline Zima also will be playing Claire’s roommate (Gretchen).

Any thoughts!? What do you all think?

Hey All,
As most of you know the Heroes cast and crew were back on set this week hard at work beginning filming on Season 4 (Volume 5 Redemption)!

Thanks to several of you that sent over this note from Adrian Pasdar who detailed how the first day went:

What a great first day we had. Shot a load of stuff in my office, no dialogue, just me acting up a storm. Solo. Then Mr Q joined us and the fireworks began. What a gentle man. This is going to be an amazing season. Everybody dropped by the set at one point or another today. This is one seriously tight cast. I am a better person for knowing? all of them. I feel lucky.

We should hopefully be able to get more and more spoilers as the days and weeks continue so make sure you keep checking back on a regular basis to stay up to speed.

Hay All,
Here is a new interview with Heroes Star Greg Grunberg with our good friend Rob at Lotsof Interviews where Grunberg reveals some Season 4 Spoilers.

Below are the spoilery bits, but he does talk about Season 3, working with Brea Grant and about all the wonderful projects he is working on.

Personally I have always been a fan of Greg Grunberg, I think he is the man and I like his portrayal of Matt. Yes, sometimes his storyline is not the greatest, but you can always see that he throws himself into the character fully and that he loves what he is doing!!

In the next series are we going to see Matt trying to start a family again?

Absolutely. The next series of Heroes is all about really Parkman trying to deal with what he’s done and the consequences that play into that now that he’s switched out the brains between Nathan and Sylar and was my character effected by that at all? I mean when do something like that you can imagine there’s probably residue left and is that going to effect me? Is Parkman going to have a little bit of Sylar in him? And I hope they play that up. The first script just came out and it’s fantastic so I can’t wait and see what they have planned for me.

Do you think your character is going to be one of the ones seeking redemption in the next series as it is titled “redemption”?

I think so. I think there’s defiantly redemption there and I think there’s regret, there’s defiantly going to be a lot of regret and even the very last shot of me in the last series is when you see Parkman standing over Sylar’s body and he defiantly regrets what he’s just done. And so if things go wrong they’re going to turn to Parkman to try and fix what he’s done even though he begrudgingly did it.
